Successful launch for the first satellites in the Globalstar 2 constellation

Six second-generation Globalstar satellites were successfully launched on October 19th. Working for the satellite manufacturers, Thales Alenia Space France, Tessella designed two of the control modes: Earth acquisition mode and nominal pointing mode.
