From its foundation, Tessella has worked with nuclear and other energy providers on the assessment and modeling of sources of risk and interactions between these (e.g. common-mode failure).  This guides the most efficient ways of mitigating against risk.  We also offer this skill base to other knowledge-based industries; in particular:

• Review of potential weaknesses due to loss of knowledge during change
• Creation of a history of past problems or project failures, together with likely causes, which can be used to guide the selection and planning of future work
• Identification and planning of the needs for digital archiving.
