Applications for Careers with Tessella

If you wish to apply for a career with Tessella you must provide us with more detailed personal information. To help us handle your application more efficiently we keep both electronic and paper records concerning your application. These records include all correspondence between us, dates and times of interviews, notes of our assessments of you, medical forms, etc. This information is kept securely and only made available to staff within Tessella involved in assessing your application. None of this information is shared with third parties (except to the extent necessary to follow up your references).

For applicants who do not join us, most of our records about you are destroyed three months after the outcome of your application is known i.e. after we turn down your application or you withdraw your application or reject our job offer. The remainder are destroyed 6 months after the outcome of your application to allow for continuity regarding applicants who reapply within this period. We do keep summary information about applications for a longer period for statistical purposes but these records exclude confidential information and would be insufficient to identify you. For successful applicants who accept our job offer, most of the information from your job application will be transferred to your staff file and then dealt with under our data protection policy for staff information. This means it will be retained for a longer period.
