Tessella are proud to be one of the inaugural sponsors of the upcoming Preservation and Archiving Special Interest Group (PASIG), taking place on January 11th through to January 13th 2012, in Austin Texas.

The PASIG event is a forum for the exchange of experience in building practical solutions to the digital preservation challenge. Attendees come from a variety of backgrounds including academia, memory institutions and the commercial sector. Tessella has been a long standing member of this community and we look forward to our continued participation as the transition is made to an independent group.

Mark Evans, Digital Practice Manager at Tessella, will be presenting at the Boot camp – a session aimed at new attendees and focused on providing an educational insight into the digital preservation domain. Tessella will also be discussing our pilot cloud service; Preservation as a Service (PaaS) as part of a session on cloud infrastructures.

The SDB User Group are to meet on 16-17th November 2011, at the Institute of Civil Engineers in London to network and exchange ideas and views on digital preservation.
