Interview Travel Expenses
UK
If you travel by car or motorcycle, we’ll refund your petrol costs at 20p per mile. Car hire charges aren’t normally covered, unless you obtain our prior authorization. The cost of car hire, and petrol at 9p a mile, should be less than the cost of public transport.
Travel by train or bus will be covered, as long as it’s second class. Taxi charges will not be covered, unless there are exceptional circumstances such as a rail or bus strike.
If you want to travel by air, you will need our prior authorization. We will consider covering your costs if the costs of air travel is comparable to public transport, and/or a significant time saving is to be made.
Valid VAT receipts must be produced to cover all costs - including petrol.
Expenses will normally be reimbursed with a cheque or cash at the time of your interview. In exceptional circumstances we’ll forward the payment to you within 5 working days. In case this happens, make sure you can cover the cost of the return journey.
USA
Tessella Inc will reimburse reasonable travel and accommodation expenses for candidates attending interview.
For candidates living within 90 minutes drive of the interviewing office, costs are limited to the prevailing IRS mileage rate, currently 48.5c/mile.
Candidates living further from the office will be told a travel budget based on rail or air fares, taxi costs, and local hotel prices. They are then expected to make their own arrangements. Expenses incurred by candidates will be reimbursed up to the given limit. Receipts for all parts of the trip are required, including taxis and meals.
Reimbursement will be by check, mailed within two weeks.

De nederlandse vestiging van Tessella bevindt zich in Den Haag. Tessella vergoedt de reiskosten die u heeft gemaakt in verband met uw sollicitatie.
De vergoeding wordt gebaseerd op het gebruik van openbaar vervoer (tweede klas).
