High quality instrumentation is essential for industry and research across the scientific and engineering disciplines. Cutting-edge instruments are vital for many sectors, from healthcare to transport, microelectronics to environmental serivces. As technological developments provide smaller devices, and the ability to process a larger volume of information more quickly, instrument manufacturers are under pressure to update their product ranges to utilize these new capabilities.

A high quality instrument needs more than just the latest technology. It needs to be supported by reliable high quality software with a clearly structured user interface that a new operator will find intuitive and simple to use.

We also have wide-ranging experience in creating tailored acquisition and control solutions for end users.

Whilst the quality of software is important for every application, this is particularly so in the medical and healthcare sectors, where a patient’s life may well be at stake. Tessella has an ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT certified Quality Management System which ensures that quality is built into our software development process. We have substantial experience in helping our customers with regulatory certification, for example to obtain approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
