Tessella has been shortlisted in the RBS Large Business Award 2009.

This category was open to any business that employs more than 25 staff or has an annual turnover of more than £5 million. The judges looked for evidence of:

• Business growth 
• A commitment to the local community including local job creation
• A written business plan demonstrating strategy and vision for the next 3-5 years
• Proven success and achievement during the past 12 months
• Management with the ability to drive the business forward
• A genuine commitment to staff

The top companies and business leaders in the county were shortlisted by the judges, with three companies selected for each of 14 categories.

Also shortlisted in the RBS Large Business Award are European Electronique Ltd and The Vale Housing Association Ltd. All finalists will go forward to an awards ceremony in Oxford on 19th June 2009, when the winners will be announced along with the overall Oxfordshire Business of the Year.
