PRESS RELEASE: Tessella relocates headquarters to handle expansion
Oxford, UK | February 9 2009. Tessella, the technology and consulting services company selected by R&D, science and engineering leaders for business-critical assignments, moves headquarters to 26, The Quadrant, Abingdon Science Park, Oxfordshire.
Kevin Gell, managing director, said, “The move to larger offices on Abingdon Science Park is a natural response to the continued growth of our business.” Gell added, “Repeatedly delivering business value to our clients in R&D, science and engineering is key to our expansion. Even in these troubled times we believe that we can continue to grow by maintaining this focus.”
Abingdon is close to several major scientific research and academic establishments such as Oxford University, UKAEA, (including Joint European Torus (JET) fusion research), Harwell Laboratory, STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and the new Diamond Light Source synchrotron, which is the largest UK-funded scientific facility to be built for over 40 years.
The Quadrant is situated at the entrance to Abingdon Science Park within a landscaped setting and in walking distance to the town centre and leisure facilities.
