The Tessella and AIIM free webinar Digital Preservation: challenges and benefits, held on October 15th 2008, was a huge success with over 300 attendees world-wide.

The speakers, Tessella’s Mark Evans and Prof Greg Hunter of Long Island University (and Senior Consultant to History Associates, Inc.) discussed the need to take steps now to address digital preservation. Lessons learned during work on the US National Archives and Records Administration’s Electronic Records Archive (ERA) program were explored.
